CURRENT EVENT : Chicago City Council Resolution in Opposition to War on Iran DOWNLOAD THE PDF PRESS RELEASE - for immediate release, distribute widely. The No War On Iran Coalition urges all citizens of Chicago to support a resolution opposing a U.S. attack on Iran introduced in City Council by Alderman Joe Moore. Noting that 16 U.S. intelligence agencies have agreed that Iran does not have a nuclear weapons program and that it poses no imminent threat to the U.S., the resolution expresses the will of the people of Chicago opposing any U.S. attack on Iran and urging the Bush Administration to engage Iran diplomatically. Join thousands in a massive march down Michigan Ave. in downtown Chicago to end the Iraq War and to stop a war with Iran. Bring signs and banners.
